Town Hall
| This building was built in 1876, on one acre of land bought
for $25, on LeRoy Merritt's homestead in the township of Doyle.
The original size of the building was 28' x 20' with a 11' x 12'
woodshed. The building was used as the Ulysses School, the
oldest school in Barron County, until 1921. In 1921 it began its
service as the Town Hall until 1960. The Town Hall was moved to
the museum on March 9, 1977 for $2,000. |
