Blacksmith Shop
Under a spreading chestnut tree, the village smithy stands;
The smith, a mighty man is he, with large and sinewy hands;
And the muscles of his brawny arms, are strong as iron bands........
This is poem written by Henry W. Longfellow 1808-1882
If you are interested in reading this poem in it's entirety, please visit
the Museum or contact the Museum to find out how to obtain a copy. |
