Machinery Building (south)

The outside of the Machinery Building
 This is a two man chainsaw used to cut down trees when they were too big to be cut with a small chainsaw. They weighed at least one hundred pounds or more.
 
This is a case tractor. It was one of the first in-line engines that came in this tractor. Notice how the wheels have no rubber on them. They have metal cleats.
This is a model T Ford converted into a light duty tractor. This tractor was used to pull the lawn mowers on tagalong golf course in the 1920's. Tagalong, a 9 hole golf course was the private course built by Frank D. Stout on the east bank of the Red Cedar River.
This a McCormick Deering tractor built sometime in the early 1920's. It was used on a local farm in Barron County. Notice how the wheels have metal cleats instead of rubber tires.
